I am in no way a plant expert but a great house plant enthusiast and wish to share my obsession thoughts, observations and all things house plants with other plant lovers, whether you are new at this or seasoned. The idea of starting a blog grew out of my new-found passion for plants and the wish to journal things I learn about houseplants and plant projects I accomplish along the way. As I search for answers and  share my experiences, I hope it helps you as you care for your house plants. But I want to learn from you as well, so do not hesitate to leave a comment  on my blog .

I fell in love with plants when a co-worker gave me a Kalanchoe blossfeldiana for my birthday in 2013. In the span of one year I went from having 1 plant to over 70 indoor plants (and counting)! My windowsills are overflowing with plants but  I have a wonderful husband who puts up with all the wonderful and unusual looking plants that is slowly turning our home into a jungle. I love it!

I am particularly interested in foliage or big leafy plants, moss, terrariums, succulents and air plants. Also the Canadian climate along with my lack of a balcony or an outside space has forced me to broaden my knowledge on how to grow plants indoors.

Indoor gardening gives me great satisfaction, acts as a great stress reliever, which absolutely, undeniably,positively influences mental health (I’ll take that any day) and adds beauty and life to our home.
